Following the demise of the French band 'Mystery Train' in 1999, Ricky (Drums) and Phil (Guitar and vocals) met Vivien (Slap Bass) to form a band inspired by different styles of Rock (Rock'n'Roll, Rockabilly, Psychobilly, Surf, Garage etc.). They blended into a unique style the critics called 'Power Rockabilly' or 'Kustomized Rock'n'Roll'. It's a powerful Psycho-R'n'R made up of a majority of originals by the band and covers that they play in their very strong but melodic style that's half way between Neo-Rockabilly and Psychobilly. After having played in lots of pubs, concerts halls, bikers and custom cars shows, tattoo conventions etc., the first album ('Time Passes By') became available in March 2002 on the German label, Part Records, made up of thirteen tracks comprising of eight originals and five covers played in the band's own style. After the success of this album, they played in lots of festivals (Hannover and Walldorf, in Germany, then England, Switzerland and Belgium),and as openers for major artists (Nekromantix, Guanabatz, Mad Sin, Batmobile...).

Due to growing demand, the second album 'Black With Flames' is out on Part Records by the beginning of 2003 with thirteen tracks comprising of nine originals and four covers (Gene Vincent, Hank Williams, AC-DC...), featuring marvellous illustrations by the famous French Kustom graphic artist David VICENTE who designed a fantastic cover and pictures in the booklet for their album. After the success of this album, the Lucky Devils played in more and more festival over Europe (Speyer, “Treat me Bad festival”, “Southern Porks Unions festival”  etc.).

Now here’s the third and surely best album : “To Hell”, on Crazy Love Records, Germany. This album gets a cover drawn by Paskal Millet who also made Meteors, or P.P. Fenech’s albums’ drawings. The music is even more representative of what the band plays live : a melodious but powerful Psychobilly that will enter your brain and never get out of it!! The Lucky Devils keep and improve their very own style on 9 original songs and 3 covers (B. Ryan, the Ramones, Blondie), with a clean but strong sound that will rock the crowd. Now its time for you to check them out....let them rock you or... “To Hell” with you!!!
