The Story
Our deadly three-piece zombie-combo, The Dead, was founded in the early cold and grey winter days of 2002. We have been practicing ever since in our temple of pleasure, located in the centre of Bern, Switzerland. Our music is influenced by our different backgrounds, including psychobilly, garage-punk and hard rock. We have mixed it all together to come up with our own toxic brew of raw, hard-rocking, alpine rock'n'roll.
In the dreary fall of 2002, when the trees were bare and nature had turned stone-cold dead, we rose from the catacombs and had our first concert in the world of the living - at the legendary "Rock'n'Roll on Planet Cheese" festival.
After this great start we've been haunting the world of humans over and over again and played at many festivals and dark gone clubs all around Switzerland. In spring 2004 our first worldwide available CD "Fiesta De Los Muertos" was released on the German label Crazy Love Records and in November we head for our first Hellurope-Tour through Germany, Czech and CH before we'll record our second record at Christmas at the very fabulos Dala Studios with Admiral James T.
