Explosive Punkabilly from Muenster / Germany! For about 3 years it was quite calm about Chibuku. At least as calm as Chibuku may be. But the guys were not idle since their latest album "Rock`n´Roll is Devils Music" came out: 2 tours through brasil, a new drummer, a european tour, various smaller and larger gigs here and there and last but not least: a new album! "Novo Mundo" is out now. Dead on time for helloween… Since the band was established in 1992 you can take this for granted: Chibuku make no prisoners. Their Psychotic Power Rock`n´Roll is a wild mixture of propulsive drums, hard guitar-riffs, absolutly maddening slap-bass und monstrous vocals, not giving a damn `bout musical stereotypes. And Chibuku has gained more versatility, last but not least since the ‚new' drummer also knows how to use a microphone... "Novo Mundo" is 35 minutes of pure adrenalin. Welcome to our new world! |

Chibuku started out in 1992.
Psychobilly lyrics abot monsters, demons creatures of the night, sick situations and the mix between different kinds of music is what we call "Psychotic Power Rock´n´Roll"
First time we hit the stage was in 1994. Since that time we played in clubs, bars, cool places, fucked up places, holes, next to the beach, festivals and open airs. At thei shows in GER, NL, B, F, A, GB, USA and BR together with "known" and "unknown" bands they met freaks all around the world which are almost the same.
Freaks who are ready to party, ready to forget all the bullshit ya gotta deal with each day.
