A Parisian girl in Düsseldorf, two boys from Cologne and one from Rockcity n°1 Solingen: this is Curlee Wurlee!

Since 1998, Curlee Wurlee!(D/F) played plenty of trashy 60's punk oriented shows in Germany, France, Italy, Belgium, Spain, Holland, appeared on TV as well as radio stations, participated at

underground performances (Bimbo Town, Revolver Gallery...) and festivals (Summer Safari and Swamp Room in Germany, Festival Beat in Italy, Cosmic Trip in France...), recorded some beautiful records and did tons of other exciting things, thanks to a wild guitar, a crazy decided bass and energetic moody drums... and of course Thee Organ Goddess in person, Cécile with her Hammond organ!

...It all starts with the Girls: Cécile, Frauke and some friends formed Curlee Wurlee! at the end of the fabulous year 1998. The girls hoorayed as teen idol Michael Rodeo (Fender Telecaster, backing vocals) joined the band in April 2001 and added his very special touch.Curlee Wurlee! gigs since became mature and won their today’s renown.Curlee Wurlee! was happy to welcome two new members in June 2004: Mr. Moody (Hara-Kee-Rees, Astronauts) is CW’s new drummer and Geree Wurlee is now the man on bass. Some appearances already revealed them being the absolute perfect line-up: That’s action p-u-r-e!

Repertoire: Cécile and Rodeo write 97% of it. Beside, Curlee Wurlee! likes

to cover too: from Nino Ferrer to Screaming Lord Sutch over finest 60's beat, punk and boogaloo or surf exotica. People love Curlee Wurlee!'s vocals in “Frenglish”, their brilliant harmonies and sometimes masked dance parties with the audience... with an obligatory taint of humour. Fun and soul in one!

Since less than one year,   recorded over 20 new songs at the Wild Wood Studio in Germany as well as in the LARSEN headquarters in France. A four-tracks EP, a split EP and a sampler contribution are scheduled for January 2005. Due to the change of line-up,   will rehearse everything again for the upcoming LP.
